We begin ...

Well, Miss Q. has urged that I must begin ths effort, e-illiterate as I may be, and so we begin with an example of my recent work, a neckpiece/assemblage. It's made of a mint tin, top only, with two eye-bolts, antique papers from a 19c encyclopedia, and the tatty leather spine of same, which I like because of its embossing in gold, a Victorian era button, steel wire, and a strip of red snakeskin from something a friend gave me. Friends bring me things, all sorts of things, and it often makes me wonder what the heck they think I'll do with them, and then I end up using them and looking for more. This piece has an obverse side, which is the point of the whole thing, but it is carried close to the chest like a winning hand, and if I can find the picture, I'll post that next. That is, if I can figure out how to get back here. Well if you run across this, come back again some time; more will be revealed!
